Make Your Voice Heard

As part of the November 2026 general election, Owatonna voters will decide whether to approve the City's plan to strengthen public safety by building new police and fire stations that will serve our community for decades to come.

How to Vote

    • Early in-person voting is available Friday, September 18, through Monday, November 2.

    • Location: Steele County Elections Office, 630 Florence Ave, Owatonna, MN 55060

    • Request a ballot online or through the County elections office.

    • Complete it at home and return it by mail or in person at the Steele County Elections Office, 630 Florence Ave, Owatonna, MN 55060.

    • Ballots must be received by Election Day (Tuesday, November 3) to be counted.

    • Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026. 

    • Owatonna residents will vote at their regular polling place between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
